Act as flex roles — step into any position when needed (e.g., filling in for developers, logistics, etc if those roles are vacant).
Ensure all core club positions are filled and functioning.
Guide and uphold the club’s mission, vision, and direction.
Delegate tasks and oversee execution to make sure goals are met.
Handle high-level responsibilities and decision-making for the club.
Manage and update the club website as needed.
Build and maintain any digital infrastructure (backend systems, databases, apps, etc.).
Reserve rooms and facilities for meetings, events, and activities.
Submit required forms and paperwork for events and operations.
Manage sponsorships and partnerships (outreach, communication, and relationship-building).
Ensure necessary documents and reports are completed on time.
Recruit potential members by recommending candidates to leadership.
Manage the club’s social media presence (primarily Instagram).
Create posts, stories, and updates to promote events, opportunities, and culture.
Ensure consistent and engaging online activity.
Take photos and videos at events, games, and meetings.
Be present for picture days and other visual documentation needs.
Provide media assets for social media and archives.
Create flyers, graphics, and visuals for events, opportunities, and club announcements.
Collaborate with the Social Media Manager to support online content.
Maintain consistent branding and design style across platforms.
Oversee all financial transactions and records.
Track and report purchases and expenditures for the club.
Prepare and submit funding requests and proposals.
Ensure financial transparency and accountability.
Lead and manage all practices, ensuring structure, discipline, and player development.
Build strong relationships to support the competitive team’s long-term growth and culture.
Oversee the team’s schedule and coordinate with staff to confirm events, travel, and deadlines.
Attend and lead all home and away games, making key coaching and leadership decisions.
Develop systems and programs that enhance player performance, teamwork, and overall unity on and off the court.
Evaluate player progress and make roster or rotation decisions to maintain a competitive edge.
Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented environment for all team members.
Support the head coach in planning and running practices effectively and efficiently.
Provide individual coaching and feedback to help players strengthen skills and confidence.
Assist with managing game operations, including rotations, substitutions, and in-game adjustments.
Help review game footage, analyze performance, and suggest tactical improvements.
Communicate regularly with players to maintain motivation, focus, and team chemistry.
Step in to lead practices or games when the head coach is unavailable.
Contribute to developing team systems, culture, and strategies that align with the head coach’s vision.
Yes, staff members are allowed to play on the team. However, the process of joining will be the same as for any non-staff member. Please note that coaches are not permitted to play. Additionally, your staff responsibilities and tasks will take priority over your role as a player.
During the off-season (when no events are happening), your primary contributions will be based on your selected role. During events, everyone helps, but some roles have key duties (like photography).
Yes, all of the positions listed above are volunteer-based.
